The Greatest Of All Time.
Everyone has their own GOAT. It’s somewhat of a loose term and there’s no real consensus on what makes a player the GOAT. Generally they’ve been dominant in their respective sports both statistically and in winning games or championships.
We can have certain GOATs for certain eras but we also debate who is the real GOAT no matter what era.
I think there is many areas that a player excels at that makes them a GOAT. Offence, defense, leadership, IQ, other-worldly skills, ability to elevate their teammates are all qualities that are key.
What do I think is the one must have GOAT quality? Clutch play. The ability of player to put their game into another gear, to go to the next level or the determination and will to put the other team away and to do it consistently.
