Book Review: The Bible

This might go without saying but I’m biased.

In my opinion it is a must read.

Rather lengthy and somewhat dense it is not only well worth a read but also a re-read. I’d go as far as to say it’s worth memorizing as much of the Bible as you can or at least verses you fine personally significant.

It’s impressive what the authors (author?) has been able to do. It stiches together a plethora of often disparate stories across centuries and millennia beginning with the creation of the world. Truely outstanding.

The books origins date back to when books didn’t even exist. It predates writing and the printing press. Today it is the most published and most popular book in the history of books. It’s even called a book of books. Or a library of books.

It contains letters, genealogies, parables, historical events, prophecy, poetry, songs and stories.

It can also be looked at as a guide book or a self-help book.

It’s often said the book can read the reader. It’s a book that reads you.

Easy 5/5.
