There’s a lot on conversation I see on youtube about how one is saved.
Do you need works? do you need to just belief? Do you even need to believe?
It’s anyone’s guess. Only God knows!
Here’s my simple take on it.
If you believe in Jesus you are saved. Jesus is the bouncer. If you believe in Jesus you automatically get in. If you don’t believe in Jesus but you believe in God (this might include everyone), you get in based on what Jesus thinks of your life or your ‘works’. Maybe some people who outright deny God may not get into heaven (is this blasphemy of the holy spirit?). They just disappear forever. Or maybe they get in too.
Maybe that wasn’t so simple.
But You believe? You get in.
Then what? You’re judged based on your works. But maybe this isn’t the judgment we think of when we think of how things are judged in the bible. It’s heaven right?
Maybe it’s judgement like in sports or athletics. You perform well then you get a good score. The better you perform the greater gifts in life or in heaven. You don’t perform well you don’t get as good of gifts…but hey… You’re in heaven.
