Jesus hailing out of Nazareth comes up to the plate.
He’s in the cleanup spot batting 4th.
It’s the top of the first with the bases loaded.
Jesus takes the first pitch. It’s a ball.
Re-entering the batter’s box Jesus signals to left field. Here comes the pitch and boom!
A towering shot to left field! A grand slam in the first.
Jesus is up to bat again in the 3rd with 2 on. This time he points to the rightfield stands.. and…… BANG. 3 run homer to the right field upper deck.
It’s now the 5th and Jesus is a bat again with no one on. Incoming fast ball! and he nails it straight away to center field for his 3rd home run of the game and 8th RBI.
Jesus is up again in the 7th. He swings at the first pitch and its another bomb straightaway. 4th home run of the game.
It’s now top of the 9th and Jesus has another chance to add to his incredible game.
He digs in with a runner on first. Here comes the 0-0… and Jesus lays down a beautiful bunt. The base runner advances but Jesus gets put out on first. An epic sacrifice bunt.
The opposing team puts the next two away and finishes the inning.
Game OVER
Bottom of the 9th unnecessary since Team Jesus wins 8-0. Jesus didn’t need any help since he also pitched recording a complete game shut-out with no hits – a perfect game.
In the 9th he laid down the sacrifice bunt when he didn’t have to. That’s just who he is.
A game for the ages.
