Steph is still an all-time great (maybe the). Greatest shooter of all time, overlooked but also all-time great at getting to the hoop.
Klay is one of the greatest shooters of all-time. All-time hottest shooter.
Draymond is the wildcard. He does so much. No player like him but the league would be better if there was more (maybe without all the techs).
But this should be Wiggins’ team now.
He’s 28. He’s in his prime. He is their best player (sorry Steph but the defense has slowed and the shots weren’t falling).
I still believe in this core. Jordan Poole needs to grow up. It’s not about him. It’s about the team. Defense is just position, hustle and a thinking man’s game. Work on angles. How much can you give up, what spots do your opponents like to shoot from. BOX OUT! Don’t go for the big play just make it harder for the opposition.
Draymond had a great year. But I feel he has about 1 year left.
Klay I’m not sure. He’s shown he is still an elite shooter. But he forced it at times way too much this year.
I’m not happy they lost. I felt the Warriors had it in them to repeat. But the silver lining maybe that it’s time to change the guard. Change the set-up.
A wake-up call for the egos.
Wiggins is your best player. Fit the pieces around him.
Let him attack. Get wide open 3 after wide open 3 with what would be easily the best 3 pointing team in the league with Curry, Thompson and Poole throwing darts from deep.
Looney grabs and ton of boards and let the young guys develop around that.
