If you haven’t noticed the world is in a weird place.
Politics, world-wide sickness, social media, wars, natural disasters, medical coercion, medical passports.. and so on.
Where’s one big area we’ve gone wrong?
Idol whorsip.
Recently it’s been reported that Stephen Curry was against affordable housing being built near his home. The media comes to his rescue stating it’s okay for him because he is “something of a secular saint to the people of the Bay Area”.
He is just one example.
It’s quite obvious large swathes of society don’t believe in God. But they do have endless idols.
Where could we learn that society would devolve much like it is right now?
It’s in the Bible. Specifically, the book of Kings. Gods chosen people continually cycle through times of hardship. Why? Because they continually go through periods where they forget about God.
Simple solutions? Read the Bible. Follow the ten commandments. Repent to God. Spread the gospel.
