Have you heard of the Holy Ghost?
John 14:17
the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
John 14:26
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
Spooky stuff?
So, what or who is the Holy Ghost?
Is it not our conscious? The voice that speaks to us. That tells us what is wrong and what is right?
I believe it is.
Would blasphemy of the Holy Ghost be to deny your conscious? Possibly.
But I do believe that we can be skilled in listening to the Holy Ghost or immature. We can ignore it or listen and grow. It may be as simple as thinking. Thinking more. About everything. Taking time to develop your own opinions on all the things we come across during out day. All the topics we hear about. Educate ourselves. Be willing to be wrong but express what you believe and why you believe it. If you disagree with something or someone voice your opinion. All too often I’m sure most people will either agree or not say something when their conscious is telling them they should. It’s important tell the truth and if you hear something you don’t agree with it’s okay to speak up.
Often people may not want to get into difficult discussions. But it’s important to. People should be open to this. If they can’t handle differing opinions, then they aren’t acting like an adult. No one person knows the complete truth. We all have different experiences. If someone is unable to have an open conversation or if they get aggressive or upset it’s okay to walk away from a conversation. But we should be rational, polite and courteous. Learn why others believe the things they believe, and they should be open to do the same for you.
Listen to your conscious.
