Stephen Curry is the Best Player of All Time

My favorite NBA player of all-time is Andrew Wiggins. I thought so since the day he entered the NBA, maybe before.

I also think he is the best player.

But here I’ll make a case for Stephen Curry being the best player all time.

One thing to get out of the way is the player with the best career. But I am specially speaking here of the player who at their peak performance you’d want on your team. \

Why Curry?

He completely tilts the game in your teams favor to a point it’s almost not fair. He has unlimited range, ball handling, and elite finishing abilities at the rim or in the paint.

His weakness? The defensive side. But it can be argued he’s average to an above average defender that teams have never been to take advantage of and his offensive abilities overshadow any negative downside.

Offensively he has destroyed teams. He put a player in the hospital in the NBA finals.

He makes his entire team around him better and gives the more space without even touching the ball. He has had a Tiger Woods like affect where he can completely deflate a player’s confidence or put fear into them with a single shot.

He’s completely changed the game and where shots are taken from. He’s revolutionized positions he doesn’t even play. He’s almost taken the traditional center position out of the game. He’s given players that likely never would have gotten the chances they’ve had to be stars in the NBA (Trae Young, his brother Seth). His game is amendable to having an all-time great in Kevin Durant to come to the team and the chemistry to be largely unaffected since Steph doesn’t have to be a ball dominant player. Yet he can be a ball dominate player as we saw in last years NBA Championship. He’s won 4 championships and set and continues to set records and could be argued is playing some of the best basketball of his career.

I still take Wiggins but can completely understand Curry beings someone’s all-time best player.
