JESUS!!
The title of this post makes reference to when Lebron James was choosing where to play next after starting his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
It was a nationally broadcasted event. During the broadcast he finally presented his answer as… “I’m taking my talents to South Beach”.
He would join the Miami Heat who already had an NBA Champion in Dwyane Wade and had also landed the Toronto Raptor’s Chris Bosh.
This created the coveted “Big Tree” that had been successful for the Boston Celtics who won a championship with Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen.
In similar fashion and with likely equal fanfare to Lebron James’ announcement I’d like to announce I am now on Team Jesus.
Fortunately for me (and anyone) Team Jesus is always accepting new members and has an unlimited roster size.
Benefits of being on Team Jesus are endless, including a free trip to heaven (stole that from a church I used to drive by to work). But I’ll discuss more on that topic in future posts that deal with the here and now.
